Vincent was injured over a year ago in a motorcycle accident. He was a professional rider and was injured during an event. The Next Step is assisting in giving Vincent a hand while he tries to put his life back together.

Naomi, who has a T7 injury, came to NEURO INSTITUTE from the state of Massachusetts.  She was injured in an off-road 4-wheeler accident, in July of 2005.  Her dreams are to recover as much function as possible.  While Naomi's initial hospital and rehab costs were covered by MassHealth, she had no insurance for additional rehab.  Through the generosity of friends and help from the Next Step Foundation Naomi is chasing her dreams.  Keep your eyes on Naomi; The best is yet to come for her!

Maro is a Physical Education teacher. He was doing a bike ride to help raise money for Rancho Feliz, a charity that helps battered children in Mexican/American border towns. Please look them up at www.ranchofeliz.com During the ride he had a horrible fall and broke his neck at C5. Being very lucky he has since fully recovered and was able to finish his recovery with 30 hours of rehabilitation at the Neuro institute, paid by The Next Step Foundation. Maro has recently returned to work fulltime.

Bill came to Neuro Institute with serious physical limitations from a traumatic brain injury. Over the past year he has made tremendous physical progress. Because of Bill’s Insurance and financial limitations The Next Step Foundation has chosen to sponsor his cognitive program at Neuro Institute, which runs approximately $650 per month. He continues to move closer to being independent and getting back to work.
