John “Pap” Kanter has been giving to our community here in Arizona for over 40 years. Those who have been able to work with Pap know how special it has been and is. Over the last 10 years Pap has taken his Dream to the next level. He shares his Wednesdays and Saturdays with a group of special ladies and anyone else who can keep up. During the week Pap donates his time and knowledge to athletes from all over Arizona and beyond. This is at “no cost” to those individuals. As Pap says, “just leave with what you came with”. We always leave with much more because of Pap. Let me just remind everyone, although Pap won’t honk his own horn. He brings over 50 years of experience as a World Champion athlete in many different sports and as a Championship Coach in just as many. But the key to Pap’s success as a Coach is that he genuinely likes and cares about people.
Pap’s Dungeon represents a lifelong Dream to have a special place where everyone, regardless of ability can exercise and feel safe. As a bonus, if you choose to listen, Pap will convince you that you are there to be a Champion in your life and not just compete.
